Gmail is now an inbox channel: connect a mailbox over OAuth and have inbound mail land in the omnichannel Inbox, with replies sent from the connected Gmail account (polled every three minutes).
Voice notes record reliably again — rewritten recorder with a live timer, cancel, a five-minute cap and distinct microphone errors, and Chromium's WebM recordings are remuxed to Ogg so they play and send with real audio instead of 0:00.
Dictation detects the spoken language: speak Bangla, Hindi, English or anything else and it is typed back in that language, with no language picker and no dependency on the browser's speech engine.
AI Reply Assistant: "Generate reply" is now the highlighted primary action, the custom instruction accepts voice input, a hint library sits in a dropdown beside it (including suggestions worked out from the conversation itself), and replies no longer attach a paid-service offer by default — never on a complaint.
AI failures report the provider's real error, and a timeout is distinguished from a cancelled request.
A fresh installation opens the setup wizard instead of a sign-in page: every route except the marketing landing page is gated until setup completes, and /setup stops serving once it does.
The wizard checks the database before it starts and names what is missing — unapplied migrations, missing SQL functions or a stale schema.
Installations stranded without a super admin can recover, from the wizard or with the standalone supabase/patches/recover-super-admin.sql patch, which does nothing if a super admin already exists.
Setup's timezone, language and currency pickers now carry the app's full worldwide lists, with search.
Tasks created from a chat now show which conversation they came from, with a one-click link back to that thread.
The read tick turns blue in the conversation list, not just in the message bubble, and the empty strip under conversations with no labels, assignee or unread badge is gone.
Publishing a plugin is now two clearly marked steps — create the listing, then add the code — with an explanation that plugin code is linked as an HTTPS CommonJS bundle rather than uploaded.
Upgrade: Apply all pending migrations with npx supabase db push --include-all --yes. If you pin the version for Docker builds, set WACRM_VERSION=7.2.3 in .env. See downloadable v7.2.3 release notes.
October 31, 2026 · AI reply quality, rich link previews, live chat and knowledge base.
AI Reply Assistant rewrites now keep everything the agent wrote — offers, discounts, prices, deadlines and commitments survive a tone change intact instead of being dropped or watered down.
Generated replies follow what the conversation has already agreed: when a customer accepts an offer, the reply carries out that exact arrangement rather than the knowledge base's general process, and an upsell can no longer jump ahead of the step the customer is waiting for.
The customer's latest message is answered directly, with per-action temperature and length limits so replies stay to the point.
Rich, clickable link-preview cards (thumbnail, site name and title) for links in the Inbox and the live chat widget, served through a domain allowlist with SSRF protection and a shared cache.
Markdown now renders in chat: **bold** and [text](url) work alongside WhatsApp-style formatting, and stray asterisks are gone.
Live chat: the embed stub is fixed, the bot answers from the knowledge base instead of always falling back to "let me connect you with a human", and Live Chat automations actually run.
Knowledge Base reindexed — semantic search is live; model fields are dynamic dropdowns; the chat widget remembers its size and animates from the right corner.
SLA escalations now reach the workflow engine; "Content & AI" moved from Marketing into Settings; the "Platform" submenu is now "AI Setup".
Clear message when saving AI settings without permission, instead of "Cannot coerce the result to a single JSON object".
Application typography switched to Geist; icon buttons are consistently styled outline app-wide (chat composer and message-hover actions stay borderless ghost, at a smaller iconSM size), and buttons no longer carry duplicate height/width/padding/border classes that fought their declared size.
Inbox header decluttered: the account filter, live-connection status, sound toggle and keyboard shortcuts are now one "More options" menu instead of four inline widgets.
Fixed the channel-switcher's overlapping "Last reply … No connected account" text, an extra blank gap under conversations with no labels/assignee/unread badge, and the Assignment & SLA panel leaving a blank strip on wide screens.
Restored the full test suite (1027 tests) and cleared every TypeScript error.
Upgrade: Apply all pending migrations through 20261031155000_link_previews.sql, which adds the link_previews cache table. No new environment variables. See downloadable v7.0.1 release notes.
