Sends a direct message to users who have had a user group promotion.

Features:

• Allows up to eight individual user group promotion phrases.
• All phrases start with usergrouppromotionsdirectmessage_ for your convenience.

Setup:

Go to the following location to get the user group promotion ID:

Admin control panel -> Groups & permissions -> User group promotions

Hover over the user group promotion title, at the bottom of your browser you will see the URL, the user group promotion ID is the number shown in the URL, make note of each user group promotion ID number.

Update the Options page with your user group promotion ID number(s).

Phrases:

To use a single phrase for all user promotions, edit the following phrase:

Questions and Answers:

Q: Will an email also be sent?
A: Yes, assuming the member has 'New direct message notification' enabled.

Q: In the body phrases, is HTML supported?
A: No. But you can use BbCode.

Q: Is there any last activity cut-off?
A: Yes. If the members last activity is older than 90 days, no direct message will be created.

Q: If I use the "Disable promotion" link, will a direct message be sent?
A: No.
